About the 8 Ball League

Welcome to the Palm Beach County American CueSports League. We have traveling 8-Ball leagues on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The Tueday session is 16 weeks each. The Thursday session is a balanced session, meaing teams play each other twice. The format is a 5 person team, round-robin play.

TUESDAY 8-BALL

TUESDAY is a night geared for good fun, good friends and healthy competition. Teams must be composed of players with mixed skill levels. In addition to having a great time, part of the goal on TUESDAY is to help less experienced players improve their game.

THURSDAY 8-BALL

Teams with any combination of skill levels are welcome to play on THURSDAY nights. There are no handicap restrictions. If your team has several strong shooters, you must play in the THURSDAY league. Got a stacked team – bring it on!

New Thursday Division starting soon!

We will be offering a division geared for teams with experienced players. Stacked teams are not allowed in this division.

In every league, we encourage players to play their best game, and to help other players improve their game. League players can receive free instruction and coaching from top league players.

Most importantly, good sportsmanship is expected from everyone. If there is a dispute during match play, the players must agree on a resolution or re-rack.

At the end of each session, we have playoffs for a trip to the ACS National Championships in Las Vegas and/or cash. On Tuesday, the top four teams at the end of session playoff for the top prizes. The remaining teams play off for a smaller pot, depending on the number of teams in the league. On Thursday nights, every team has a chance to play for the main prize. Individual awards are given as well. Tuesday teams play against Tuesday teams only, and the same for Thursday teams.
